Meadow & Lark
-
A Solid Ranch Truck
The Meadow is our 2004 four-wheel drive Dodge 2500 with a crew cab and long bed. Meadow spent its early days on a working cattle ranch just west of our home base. Meadow is comfortable and rugged with everything you need for a great trip: fourwheel drive, cruise control (not that you’ll need it on twisty Montana roads), comfortable and roomy seats, back up camera, AC, and a radio.

Dare we say, "Vintage" Truck Camper
The Lark is a 1991 S&S Truck Camper and it was born and built in Kalispell, Montana. Fully outfitted with a comfy queen size bed, kitchen, dinette, and a toilet, the Lark sleeps 2 in style. On board are 20 gallons of fresh water, solar power to charge all your devices, a furnace to keep you warm on cool Montana nights, and plenty of storage. Plus with lots of windows and vents, the Lark is airy and bright.

All the Extras
Included in your rental is everything you need to fill out your campsite. You’ll get camp chairs and a table and an outdoor stove/grill. The Meadow & Lark are pet friendly, so you can bring your best furry buddy. Ask about airport pickup or delivery options.
Why we partnered with Bobby Vans LLC.
This season, we are excited to partner with Kim & Eli of Bobby Vans LLC who will manage Meadow and Lark. Meadow and Lark are now based in Jackson Wyoming with amazing access to Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks, the excellent fishing in the Snake River plus tons of trails. Plus you’ll still get the same great service with Kim & Eli.
Camp almost anywhere: Campgrounds, Trailheads, or get Off the Beaten Path.
The Meadow and Lark are perfect for camping at any National Park, Forest Service or State Park Campground. Fully equipped with two batteries charged by solar panels, the Lark’s lights and device charging station still work without electric hook ups. In addition, with 20 gallons of drinkable water on board and a full tank of propane for cooking and running the refrigerator and furnace, you will be able to enjoy all of Lark’s amenities even without shore power.
It’s like home, but on the Road
The Lark is downright plush. Cook gourmet meals with a thoughtfully equipped kitchen featuring a three burner stove, double sink and refrigerator. Eat with friends at the comfortable dinette inside, or take your meal al fresco with the included camp chairs and table. With lots of windows and vents, the Lark is bright and airy. Get a great night’s sleep with a queen sized bed blanketed in soft sheets and warm blankets.
Why did we name our truck and camper “Meadow and Lark”?
We are unabashed bird nerds. Springtime in Montana brings the migration of lots of birds, including Western Meadowlarks. Seeing the first Meadowlark of the season is just one way we know fine weather is just around the corner.
Meadowlarks have a distinctive song which they sing proudly from fence posts along Montana’s back roads. And the males have a bright yellow chest with a sharp, and some might say, snazzy little black tie. So who couldn’t love them? So we decided to name our truck and camper after them.
